In my poems I have used a lot of metaphors and talked about my life situations. Each of the poems is in a unique style such as the imagery to make a theme for my poem. In some of the poems such as Sudden Moments, I capitalize the first letter of the word for a deeper meaning. I want the readers how i felt writing the poems for the past few weeks. The new techniques I played in my poems are words that have sounds while reading and words that are powerful. All of the poems have stances to break off the poems. In Found clues, I added questions for the readers to think about it; and for Spotlight, I didn't say what the object I was talking about so the readers can figure out what I bring with me. In "Spotlight" and "Who am I," I did hyperbole for sound effects. Each of the poems are edited with pictures that represents a theme. In "I was raised by…" I have so many repetitions. Overall, I believe I have different elements in my poems. Please enjoy reading my poems

The art represents one of my poem which is Spotlights. Through out the years, I carry my camera with me on my trips. Camera is part of my life because it takes pictures of my moments.

Pablo Neruda is a poet which is called pen name because he wrote so many poems. He was born in Santiago, Chile. His themes for the poems are surrealist poems, historical epics, political, autobiography and love poems. He is consider green ink back in the 19th century. He died from heart failure, but everyone known him as the legend of poets. In his poems, he reflects the emotions towards nature. Neruda would use a lot of similes and metaphors. Poems such as A Song of Despair it says “emerges from the night around me or Deserted like the wharves at dawn.” He used words that are sensitive towards a person. Every title is about someone which gave him an idea of writing his poems. In that poem, it was spaced out every two lines giving a meaning for each stances. In the poem of Brown and Agile Child it says “I love your happy body, your rich, soft voice. Dusky butterfly, sweet and sure Like the wheatfiled, the sun, the poppy, and the water. “

There are combinations of metaphors, imagery and figurative languages. Some of the words doesn’t spell right which means that his poems are historical. The way of reading the poems don’t sound emotionally frustrated but soft and mellow. Here I love you broke down into stances talking about someone he loves in the world. He kept saying and I love you and another example when he says “The moon turns its clockwork dream.

The biggest stars look at me with your eyes.”He would use repetitive languages of comparing something he loves. This reflects how Neruda grew up because he had different parents and a half sister. It gave him a reputations of writing in his early life. When he married Maryka Antonieta Hagenaar Vogelzang which he evolved with writing different styles in poems.
